Known for his ability to work within very short time constraints, David Johnson recently photographed actress Jennifer Garner at the Four Seasons New York for a recent  Ten-Questions feature in Time Magazine.  A frequent contributor to this section, Johnson calls it the “Ten-Minutes” feature, because he’s usually only given 10-minutes of time with the subjects, thought that can often turn into being only five minutes, the namesake for David’s  “The Five Minute Portrait,” a workshop that David has taught at the Santa Fe Photo Workshop, and recently was asked to speak about by the ASMP Michigan.  David has worked with photo editor Marie Tobias on Ten-Questions portraits since 2007, photographing subjects such as Sting, Ice Cube, Jeff Koons, Damien Hirst and Sean Penn.
